LEARNING AND FUN!
Computer Literacy
Hundreds of children at Vero Beach?s Gifford Youth Activity Center (GYAC) will enjoy a new computer lab thanks to Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida. A $10,000 RMHC grant will help the Center?s kids develop computer literacy, advance their reading skills and perform well on the FCAT reading and math tests.
GYAC is widely recognized for its outstanding service to youth and was recognized in 2005 as Community Organization of the Year for the State of Florida by the Florida African American Education Alliance.
